Hidden Heritage
Hidden Heritage is a heritage project undertaken by residents of Tydavnet Parish and is Peace III funded. Although still in its' infancy, the projects major aims are the exploration and documentation of the local folklore experienced in the parish. The project will be formally exhibited in Monaghan County museum towards the end of 2010.
The first steps
Our initial undertaking is to create a collection of images depicting everyday life in the parish through the years. We invite the wider community to contribute to the project by submitting any photographs of interest that they may have, and encourage others to do so also.
